Jesus Wants My Life To Be Organized?

The Value of Organizing Your Life

1 Corinthians 14:40 (NKJV) Let all things be done decently and in order.

It’s the new year and you want to start fresh; everyone seems determined to make 2022 their best year yet and you want in on this too, right? Well you can achieve this by establishing organization and structure to your everyday life.

If your life feels chaotic, like you have no control or no time for yourself and the things you enjoy, this means you need a daily routine. We often function much better when our work space, bedroom and even pantry is organized, so we should be doing the same with our lives. It's time for you to revolutionize your life and live with purpose, here's why.

Intention

When you begin to organize your day, you create a routine of what your life should look like. Each morning and evening is filled with expectation, because you already know what is set before you and what you need to do to achieve it. With these actions you shift from idly going about your day, to living with intention and purpose.

Goals

Creating a routine for your day can also help you stay on top of your goals. When you become more organized you can pinpoint the areas you want to focus on and improve. As believers, we all have a God given purpose and gifts, but are we working each day towards them? When you organize your day, you have a clearer understanding of how much time you give to various aspects of your life. Whether you are a parent, married, single, work two jobs or none, you can set your day to be the most proactive and productive it can be.

Increases Discipline

When we establish a routine and stick to it, we deny our flesh of certain things we want at that moment. You may be like me and want to have more discipline when it comes to social media. With a routine you can set, let’s say, two hours a day for social media and when that time is up you must divert your attention elsewhere.

By doing this, you've now set a standard that you no longer have to give into habits that are destructive, time consuming and not good for your overall spiritual, mental and physical health. This unknowingly gives you a sense of accomplishment and strength.
